Object Description
A lovely eighteenth century silver wine funnel which has a fine beaded border.
The funnel is from the workshops of the famous lady silversmith Hester Bateman made in London in 1789.
The wine funnel is clearly hallmarked to the inside of the strainer bezel and correctly and clearly marked with the standard mark and Hester Bateman mark to the detachable funnel.
The wine funnel is slightly larger than most by her and is in very good condition.
