Object Description
An Antique Silver George III wine funnel of a classic form with a reeded border and elegant long spout .
The crest of a stag is engraved to the side, together with the initials H.W.R engraved to the inside.
The funnel has a reeded border and its original thumbpiece and is separately hallmarked on the funnel rim piece.
The funnel was made in 1797 in London by the silversmith William Sumner ( The Makers Mark is not particularly clear ).
