Object Description
A large antique silver coffee pot which stands on four naturalistic feet and has a wonderfully hand chased body with leaf motifs.
The pot has fruiting vines to the spout, with a decorative handle and detachable finial to complete the look.
This excellent coffee pot was made in the last year of George IV; William IV ascended to the throne this year.
There is an attractive small family crest of a Greyhound holding an arrow to one side.
It is in good condition.
The pot has a large capacity of over 1500 ml (2.65 UK pints).
Dimensions: height (to top of handle) 24.5 cm; weight 30 troy oz.
