Object Description
A handsome figure of a knight in full armour having a hinged visor and carved bakalite face. In one hand he has a shield, in the other a flag. Parcel gilt finish. Fantastic workmanship and decorative detail. With a pierced filigree silver and gem set base.
Total weight 213 grams, 6.8 troy ounces.
Height 12cm (to top of helmet plume), 15cm (to top of flag). Base 4.3 x 4.3cm.
German silver marks and makers initials.
Circa 1910.
Sterling silver.
‘Registered as exempt under the Ivory Act 2028’. Defra registration AYNNMLTG.
Marks. Stamped on the edge of the base with “Sterling” and below with German silver marks and makers initials.
