Object Description
A decorative antique silver plate and terracotta casserole serving dish by Wiskemann, dating from the 1920s.
The round serving dish features a twin handled silver plated stand decorated with a pierced fretwork gallery.
Otto-Leonard Wiskemann was the most exclusive Belgian manufacturer of silver-plated objects. He came from a noble German family of goldsmiths and jewellers and settled in Brussels in 1872.
