Object Description
A fine and unusually large Queen Anne Britannia standard silver porringer which is of circular form.
The upper portion is encircled with a chased rope-twist decorated girdle.
The front of the porringer has the initial “R” engraved inside the cartouche.
The porringer has two decorated S-scroll handles.
This very fine porringer is in super condition and has lovely crisp detail with excellent hallmarks.
Dimensions: height 12.2 cm, length (across handles) 23 cm, diameter (of bowl) 14.5 cm; weight 14.25 troy oz.
