Object Description

An antique silver queen’s pattern flatware service for 12, all made in London in 1884 by the Savory Brothers.
Comprising:
12 tablespoons
12 table forks
12 dessert spoons
12 dessert forks
To complement the set the Savory Brothers , with their French connections, had 12 mother of pearl table knives and 12 dessert knives made by Francois Nicoud of Paris. The table knives are rebladed from the original carbon steel ,to stainless steel in circa 1920. The dessert knives have French 1st standard, 950 pure, silver blades which are delightfully engraved.
The whole set is in fabulous condition and to get period mother of pearl knives with a complete one date and maker set is most unusual.
