Object Description
A very fine and rare large Victorian silver vinaigrette in the form of a book.
The superbly detailed exterior is engraved to each side with a floral design and to one side there is a cartouche containing initials. The curved spine is engraved to look like a bound book. The cover opens to reveal a gilt pierced and engraved grill.
The vinaigrette is far larger than normal with a length of 5.2 cms.
The box is in excellent condition. A very fine and rare size book vinaigrette.
