Object Description
An interesting and intricately handpainted late 19th century stained glass panel depicting Glasgow’s 17th century Old University College in High Street. The University of Glasgow later moved to Gilmorehill in 1870.
We are also selling another panel of the same style depicting Edinburgh’s Tron Kirk.
Finely painted, this rounded stained glass window hanging is exceptionally detailed, showcasing the Old College’s historic architecture with its turret style buildings and clock tower.
A brilliant piece of Scottish interest with hooks to either side for hanging in a window or in front of a light source where it’s details will be brought to life.
