An antique stained glass panel depicting nobleman in a rural scene. Dating to circa 1674, this large panel exhibits vibrant hand-painted colours.
The intriguing eclectic scene shows two herdsmen and a herd of cattle above a nobleman holding a musket, flanked by a fleur de lys crest, surmounted by a knights helmet.
The coat of arms is that of the name “Her Hans Heinrich Anno 1674”, which is inscribed to the lower section of the panel.
With hanging hooks in place, the vivid imagery of this stained glass panel makes it quite the striking statement piece flooded with daylight in the main room of a period property.
