A beautiful painting ” A view of a Dutch Street Scene” by Louis Dommersen, Oil on panel, Signed, with a wax seal verso, late 19th Century in date.
The painting has a captivating illuminating light with beautiful vibrant colours, it depicts a busy street scene with bulding and a group of people in the foreground and a church spire in the back ground.
Dommersen’s paintings have been much admired over a period of time and it is evident that he is now firmly established in the history of architectural painting as is refelected in the auction.
Louis Dommersen was active/lived in Germany, Netherlands. Louis Dommersen is known for landscape paintings.
