Object Description
A good quality early 18th century steel stable candlestick, having a shaped carrying handle and six vertical spindles that enclose an adjustable platform for the candle, to stop it toppling over onto the straw and catching fire. The whole is seated on an attractive solid walnut flared circular base with a B moulded foot. It has an excellent rich colour and patination.
