Object Description
A Victorian boxwood and mahogany Bilboquet, also known as a cup and ball, which was popularised in the late 16th century in France by Henry III and it became a craze with all classes of the population throughout the world. The aim is to swing the ball into the cup or on the spindle, which is more difficult than it looks. They were made of various woods and are of various sizes. The whole has a good colour and patination.
