Object Description
A late 19th century cylindrical boxwood mortar grater of traditional form, having a pestle with a mushroom knob handle with a metal grinding plate. The base houses a further grinding plate of similar proportions. The whole is decorated with incised lines and has a pleasant pale colour and patination.
