A good sail maker’s seam rubber or liner of sturdy proportions, having a turned handle stamped J Nicholson and incised line decoration and an iron collar with the end showing signs of hammer blows. The tapered blade has conforming line decoration and is also stamped both sides J. Nicholson. The whole has an excellent colour and patination.
