This is a gorgeous antique Victorian silver plate on copper pedestal punch bowl or wine cooler, Circa 1860 in date and bearing the makers mark C&Co for Carrinfton, 130 Regent Street, London.
This exquisite punch bowl has beautiful fluted hammered decoration and bearing a crest of an engraved lion rampant.
This is truly a special item and it will attract the maximum amount of attention, the quality and craftsmanship are undeniable.

A business of retail silversmiths with manufacturing connections. John Bodman Carrington first listed in London in 1873 at 130 Regent Street (the London showroom of G.R. Collis & Co Birmingham). Until 1888, in partnership with Samuel Watton Smith, traded at 57 Cambridge Street Birmingham under the style of Collis & Co and S.W. Smith & Co. In 1880 the business at 130 Regent Street was restyled Carrington & Co. John Bodman Carrington retired in 1906 and the firm was managed by William Carrington Smith and converted into a Ltd in 1922. Later the firm became a subsidiary of The Collingwood Group Ltd
