Object Description
A charming and unusual Victorian silver plated sugar bowl in the form of a coal scuttle with a shovel as the spoon, marked C & C over C into a trefoil, circa 1860 in date
The cylinder shaped bowl features a front and back handle and sits on a round base, the scuttle fits into the top of the bowl.
The attention to detail is absolutely fantastic and the quality is truly superb.
This lovely piece is practical as well as decorative.
Condition:
In excellent condition. As antique items, the piece shows signs of use commensurate with age, these minor condition issues are mentioned for accuracy and, as seen in the accompanying photographs, the scuttle displays beautifully.
