Object Description
This very attractive and comfortable antique library chair is made from solid tulipwood, a rare timber mainly used for decorative veneers.
The chair has deep buttoned back and sprung seat with brass studded borders. It has lovely deep scrolling arms and the reeded, turned and tapering front legs are surrounded by a carved floral plaque and terminate in brass and white ceramic castors. The rear legs are swept back with similar castors.
This is a very attractive, very comfortable antique library chair is of exceptional quality and would grace any library or sitting room.
