Object Description
A very pretty vintage engagement ring set with rare oval shaped old mine cut diamond in the centre. The diamond – graded as J colour, VS clarity – is secured in a platinum six claw coronet collet and is flanked by spear shaped shoulders set with a further ten (five each side) eight-cut diamonds, leading to a slim platinum shank. Currently UK size L or US size 5.5 (complimentary sizing available).
This ring is accompanied by an independent jewellery report from IGR (#30310655).
Cut – Oval shaped old mine cut in the centre with eight-cuts in the shoulders.
Colour – The centre is J, the diamonds in the shoulders are H to J.
Clarity – The centre cut is VS2. The diamonds in the shoulders are SI1.
Carat – The centre is a known 0.74 carat, with a further approximate 0.05 carat in the shoulders.
Circa – 1930.
Size – L (UK) or 5.5 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.
Measurements – The centre is approximately 6.0 x 5.1mm and sits 6mm from the finger.
Weight – 3.07 grams.
