Object Description
An exceptional vintage diamond engagement ring. The very bright, white and internally clean old European cut natural diamond in the centre is secured in a four claw square collet with ornate detailing in the gallery, and is flanked by raised shoulders set with six (three each side) old cut diamonds, leading to a slender platinum shank. Platinum with French hallmarks.
Accompanied by an independent jewellery report from IGR.
Cut: Old European cut in the centre and old mine cuts in the shoulders.
Colour: All the diamonds range from F to G.
Clarity: The centre is VVS2. The side diamonds are VS2 to SI1.
Carat: The centre is approximately 0.75 carat, with a further approximate 0.05 carat in the shoulders.
Circa: 1940.

Measurements: The centre diamond is 5.85 in diameter and sits 5mm from the finger.
Weight: 2.96 grams.
