Object Description
Art Deco aquamarine and diamond ring. Centrally set with an octagonal scissor cut natural aquamarine in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 16.30 carats, further set with thirty eight round eight cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.55 carats, to an impressive flanked solitaire design, featuring intricate openwork geometric clusters with millegrain borders, an ornate open gallery and fancy open backholing, the trumpeting shoulders flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Tested platinum, circa 1935.
