Object Description
Art Deco Burmese red spinel and diamond ring. Set to the centre with one cushion shape old mine natural and unenhanced Burmese red spinel in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 1.80 carats, further set with four rectangular baguette cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with a combined approximate diamond weight of 0.20 carats, to a striking flanked solitaire design with curving claws, geometric pierced gallery and fancy shaped backholing, flanked by stepped split shoulders leading to a solid tapering shank. Marked platinum, circa 1925, accompanied by a Gemmological Certification Services report #79203-45.
