Art Deco Burmese ruby and diamond ring. Set with a cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced Burmese ruby in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 1.69 carats, flanked by two rectangular baguette cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.20 carats, to an elegant flanked solitaire design, featuring curving claws, an intricately pierced gallery and fancy open backholing, flanked by slightly raised structured openwork shoulders leading through to a solid D-shape shank. Tested platinum, circa 1930, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5776-3338.
