Object Description
Art Deco cabochon emerald and diamond ring. Set to centre with an oval cabochon cut natural Colombian emerald with no colour enhancement in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 2.00 carats, flanked by ten rectangular baguette cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.70 carats, further set with sixteen round eight cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.35 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.05 carats, to an impressive flanked solitaire design featuring polished edges, a geometrically pierced gallery and open backholing, leading to smooth shoulders and flowing through to a solid shank. Tested platinum, French import marks, circa 1925, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #81280-33.
