Object Description
Art Deco Colombian emerald and diamond cluster ring. Set to centre with an octagonal emerald-cut natural Colombian emerald with minor clarity enhancement in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 1.40 carats, flanked by four rectangular baguette cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.30 carats, further set with eight round transitional cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.48 carats, and decorated with four round eight-cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.12 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.90 carats, to a rectangular cluster design featuring angular corner claws and polished edges, a pierced gallery with scrolling motifs and fancy shape open backholing, leading to raised shoulders with chenier detail and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank.
