Object Description
Art Deco old mine diamond ring. Set with a cushion shape old mine diamond, H colour, SI2 clarity with a weight of 2.18 carats in an open back claw setting, further set with two rectangular baguette cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with a combined weight of 0.20 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 2.38 carats, to a geometric flanked solitaire design, featuring split claws, an intricately pierced openwork gallery and fancy shape open backholing, flanked by raised shoulders, flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat white gold and platinum, circa 1930, accompanied by Gemological Institute of America (GIA) report #2233583359.
