Object Description
Art Deco diamond and sapphire ring. Set to centre with a round old cut diamond in an open back half rubover and claw setting with an approximate weight of 1.30 carats, further set with two square French-cut natural unenhanced sapphires in open back rubover settings with an approximate combined weight of 1.00 carats, to a geometric three stone design featuring pierced curving claws, a scrolling openwork gallery and fancy shape open backholing, flanked by trumpeting shoulders, flowing down to a solid tapered D-shape shank. Marked platinum, circa 1930.
