Object Description
Art Deco diamond ring. Set slightly raised to centre with a round old cut diamond in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 0.90 carats, further set with four rectangular baguette cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with a combined weight of 0.50 carats, further set to top and bottom with two graduated rows of round old cut diamonds, fourteen in total with a combined weight of 1.00 carats in open back grain settings. The total approximate diamond weight is 2.40 carats, to a bombe cluster design featuring curving claws, a linear pierced gallery and fancy shape open backholing, flanked by tapering split shoulders flowing down to a solid ridged shank. Tested platinum, circa 1935.
