Object Description
Art Deco diamond ring. Set with twenty eight round eight cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined approximate weight of 1.20 carats, flanked on one side by four rectangular baguette cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with a combined weight of 0.40 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.60 carats, to a rectangular cluster design featuring linear lines with polished edges, a decorative openwork gallery with scrolling motifs and open backholing leading to raised trumpeting grooved shoulders and flowing through to a solid ridged shank. Tested platinum, circa 1935.
