Object Description
Art Deco diamond two stone cluster ring. Centrally set with two round old cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with a combined approximate weight of 1.40 carats, flanked by two round old cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.17 carats, surrounded by twenty two round eight cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.66 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 2.23 carats, to an ornate two stone design featuring openwork details with millegrain edging, a pierced scalloped gallery and open backholing, leading to integrated engraved shoulders and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Marked platinum, indistinct hallmark, makers mark ‘R.R’, numbered ‘193’, French import mark, circa 1920.
