Object Description
Art Deco diamond flanked solitaire ring. Centrally set with an octagonal emerald-cut diamond, E colour, VS1 clarity, with an approximate weight of 2.09 carats in an open back claw setting, flanked by four rectangular baguette cut diamonds in open back channel settings with a combined weight of 0.25 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 2.34 carats, to a structural flanked solitaire design featuring smooth borders, a finely pierced gallery and geometric open backholing, leading to gently sloping shoulders and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Marked platinum, English, circa 1930, accompanied by Gemological Institute of America (GIA) report #2233501567.
