Object Description

Set with a 1.34ct Columbian emerald, this 1920s panel ring exudes Art Deco style. The diamonds, total weight approximately 0.93ct, frame the emerald and maximise this cocktail ring’s brilliance. The scroll pierced gallery and intricately pierced setting on this antique emerald ring have a high level of craftsmanship.

Object Literature

This cocktail ring is from the Art Deco era, around 1925. The 20s were a time of geometric elegance, bold colour and opulent craftsmanship – a decisive break from the nature-infused motifs of previous periods.

Object Condition

Excellent condition: very minor wear commensurate with age. All stones secure. No scratches, cracks or chips to the stones. The emerald has been recently polished. Overall, fantastic condition.
