Object Description
Art Deco marquise diamond cluster ring. Set to centre with an marquise old cut diamond in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 0.90 carats, encircled by twenty six round old cut diamonds in openback grain settings with a combined weight of 0.60 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.50 carats, to a elegant marquise cluster design featuring split claws, millegrain edging, an intricately pierced scalloped gallery and fancy open backholing, flanked by trumpeting shoulders leading to a solid rounded tapered shank. Tested platinum, circa 1935.
