Art Deco opal and diamond ring. Set to the centre with an oval cabochon natural opal in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 3.50 carats, further set with six rectangular baguette cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.60 carats, to a striking flanked solitaire design with curving claws, an intricately pierced gallery with foliate motifs and fancy shaped backholing, flanked by geometric trumpeting split shoulders flowing through to a solid slim shank. Marked platinum, English, circa 1925.
