Object Description

Art Deco Period Modernist design ring set with a central plaque of concave polished black Onyx mounted in a rose gold setting with rectangular chamfered white gold pierced claws.
European Circa.1930s.

Object History

This ring is of very bold modernist design & the use of a concave plaque of onyx is very unusual & an added refinement to the design.
Unfortunately the gold assay marks are no longer legible & therefore it is not possible to suggest an origin for the ring.
