Art Deco Tiffany & Co sapphire and diamond cocktail ring. Set with twelve square baguette cut natural unenhanced sapphires in open back rubover channel settings with a combined approximate weight of 1.20 carats, additionally set with twelve round old cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.88 carats, further set with ten round single cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.24 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.12 carats, to a geometric openwork cluster design, featuring polished edges, a finely pierced gallery and fancy open backholing, flanked by raised curling split shoulders which lead through to a solid grooved tapering flat shank. Marked platinum and iridium, maker’s mark ‘TIFFANY & CO.’, American, circa 1935.
