Object Description
Art Deco two stone diamond cluster ring. Vertically set with two round old cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with an approximate combined weight of 1.40 carats, further set with two round old cut diamonds to the shoulders in open back rubover settings with a combined weight of 0.15 carats, adorned further with a cluster of eight round rose cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.15 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.70 carats, to an ornate two stone cluster featuring millegrain decoration throughout, an intricately pierced rectangular gallery and fancy shape open backholing leading to trumpeting shoulders, and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Tested platinum, French control mark, circa 1925.
