Art Nouveau sapphire and pearl necklace. Set to centre with a round cabochon natural unenhanced sapphire in an open back rubover setting with an approximate weight of 0.50 carats, further adorned with four baroque shape natural pearl beads, to an articulated openwork necklace, flowing with movement, featuring intricate graduating heart shapes adorned with foliate motifs, millegrain details and polished edges, terminating with a secure sprung C-clasp, approximately 18.5″ in length. Marked 18 carat yellow gold, French, circa 1900.
