Art Nouveau WMF Claret Jug and Stopper with Green Glass Liner

Object Description

WMF green glass claret jug of stylised form, the mount depicting bathing maidens. The handle and finial modelled as a fruiting vine. Impressed maker’s marks including WMF ostrich logo, ‘OX’, ‘B’ and ‘I/0’ to underside of jug, and ‘I/0’ to underside of finial.

Object Condition

Good. Some slight age related wear and tarnishing.
