An unusual late 18th Century Sheraton period rosewood Artist’s Bonheur du Jour boxwood & ebony strung & satinwood banded throughout, having brass galleried upper part above fold-over top revealing red leather writing surface & concealed lift-up painting easel. The piece, with 3 frieze drawers containing many original water colour paints & crayons, above paper storage cupboard and concave platform, supported on satinwood panelled square tapering legs.
