Object Description
Circa 1840. Decorative pair of early Victorian rosewood game tables. The rectangular tops with rounded corners in a nicely figured Brazilian rosewood, opening to interiors with circular baize playing surfaces. The fore-edges with cross banding above a shaped frieze with C scrolls carvings and supported on bulbous octagonal stems with carved collars above quadripartite shaped plinth bases with scrolled feet and hidden brass casters.
