Austrian Silver & Enamel Horses Snuff Box

Object Description

The box of rectangular shape with faceted corners topped with an enamel scene featuring three horses grazing by the watering trough amongst a sunburst enamel background. The interior of the box is finished in Silver gilding and bares a thumb tab to the front. The Snuff Box dates to the late 19th century circa 1880.

Measurements (inches) 0.67 High x 2.04 Wide x 1.57 Deep

Object Condition

Very Good, extremely small pin head chip to the enamel approximately 2 o’clock position
