Object Description

The flask is intriguing. Shaped and waisted of eight panels, with gradual taper to neck. This is overlaid with silver organic roots, each of which island to resemble bark. The case of the collar is gilded with scrolls and leaves. This grows into a pergola decorated with floral, leaf and scroll motifs. Under this three musicians play, one on cello one on viola and the other on violin. The stopper is original to the bottle. Austro-Hungarian dating to circa 1860-1880

Object Condition

In very good overall condition and in original box(which has slight foxing to the underside, where perhaps some perfume spilled).
