Bactrian Gold Pendant with Garnet Inset

Object Description

A delicate Bactrian, gold pendant, featuring a polished garnet cabochon. The small pendant is tear-drop shaped, and features a gold wire suspension loop at the top and at the bottom. The cabochon is encased by a gold bezel, decorated with fine granules.

Date: Circa 1st – 3rd Century AD

Ex Japanese gentleman (deceased) collection, 1970 – 2010.

Object Condition

Good condition. Minor wear as consistent with age.
