Baguette cut diamond and ruby ring, circa 1935. A platinum ring horizontally set with six rectangular baguette cut diamonds in a channel setting with an approximate total weight of 1.50 carats, above an ornately pierced gallery set with fifty round eight cut diamonds in millegrain bead settings with an approximate total weight of 0.50 carats, the shoulders also set with four tapered step cut rubies in millegrain channel settings with an approximate total weight of 0.20 carats, on a tapered square shank finely engraved with stylized foliate decoration, and with an approximate combined diamond weight of 2.00 carats.
