Object Description

Barbizet (attributed) French Palissy Majolica wall platter which features fish (including a pike), a snake, a lizard, a frog, insects, shellfish and leaves. Colouration: blue, green, brown, are predominant.

Object Condition

Good. Small patch of scratches to the reverse. RESTORATION. Filled chip to pike tail fin and dorsal fin. Filled chip to flower. Remodelled flower to one end of the platter.
