Object Description

Belle Époque ruby and diamond three stone ring. Set to centre with a single cushion shape old mine cut natural unenhanced Burmese ruby in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 1.70 carats, flanked by two round old cut diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined approximate weight of 1.25 carats, to an elegant three stone design with curving claws, a decoratively pierced gallery and open backholing, leading to smooth shoulders and flowing through to a solid shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold and platinum, French, circa 1910, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #79213-12.
