Berlin Woolwork Lion Embroidery. Framed in an old maple frame with gilt slip and glass. Tacked to a wood stretcher frame with brown paper backing. The sampler is worked in wool on a canvas ground. Colours blues, red, green, pink, magenta, browns, grey and black. Subject depicts a lion with a palm tree in the background.
