Object Description
A Black Starr & Frost, Art Deco diamond and platinum cocktail wristwatch, featuring a rectangular off-white dial with cut corners, black Roman numerals, hands, and floral motifs, within a diamond and synthetic sapphire set two part case, the is crown set with a cabochon synthetic sapphire. The bracelet is comprised of two claw set, emerald-cut synthetic sapphires, followed by open, brilliant-cut diamond set square links, joined together by baguette-cut diamond bars, mounted in platinum. Inside is a mechanical movement by Longines. The inside of the case is marked PLATINUM with a monogram, numbered 470 and with service marks PE 6/21; P110947; PIE10046; P-114263; X9704; 4-37B; 11-2-35B; 6-22-34B; 7375; 6-27-3. The outside of the case is signed Black Starr & Frost, circa 1930. The total estimated diamond weight is 10.00 carats.
