Boat (Schuitje) Shaped Peat Bucket Tea Stove Jardinière.
Made from copper and brass, the copper has still the original chocolate colour patination.
Still with its original brass liner.
It is very rare to find this type of boat shaped bucket made of copper and brass most of the time they are made from wood.
For the technic to shape and connect the copper and brass the coppersmith used the early dovetail connection.
In beautiful original condition.
Dutch circa 1820.
